Well folks I am header away for the next few days, going to spend some time with my family who I do not spend nearly enough time with, probably until Friday or Saturday. Please bear with me as far as answering emails as I will not have access to my computer for a few days, but the good news is that upon re-arriving here in PA on the weekend I will have a bunch of tutorials ready for next week! Finally! New content Yipee!

Well everybody have a Wonderful, Safe, Happy, and Thankful Thanksgiving! Happy Turkey Day!

Now I cannot leave those of you not celebrating Thanksgiving with nothing to do all weekend long I have here a pretty cool blog/resource loaded site. His name is Ryan and he has some incredible work as well as training material, those of you that enjoy vector anything should really like his blog. Check out www.vectips.com for Illustrator Tips, Tricks, and More!

Alright, alright, I know, I know it has been since late July since I did really anything to the site or even uploaded new tutorials….WHAT!?!?! That is absolutely crazy, but now with the new site launched I am super excited and have a HUGE list of tutorials-in-the-waiting…or something like that, no but in all honesty I have a ton of ideas (thanks in large part to the requests of the viewers of the videos) and am ready to pump out a ton of videos and hopefully by early next year I will have made up my 4+ month short coming to you guys.

Anyway the new site is here, hopefully to stay and I have done a whole lot in the backend and visually that should help make the site a lot nicer and easier for me to edit and update. Among the new things on the site I have a Blog (that would be this part :D ), My favorite Links etc…, FAQ’s, About me, Personal Photography, and oh yes I also included a Donate page, also I have decided to sell all of my videos at a flat $3.50 regardless of the length and if you enter a code at checkout (find this code on the FAQ’s and Buy Video pages) you will receive an additional 20% off your total price.

I have tried to keep the site pretty compact (except in the tutorial department) and so far I like what I have seen. If you do find any problems I may have missed (misspelled words, broken links, etc…) please drop me a line and I will get them fixed up.

Have fun exploring the new site and I certainly hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy bringing it to you!

I have decided that as part of the new site I will place a bit of my personal photography work here on Tutvid, the bulk of which comes from here in Pennsylvania, but as I travel around and get the oppurtunity obviously I will get more stuff from around the country/world and as a result maybe some of that stuff will get posted. For now I have just decided on the few photos I have on the personal photography page. Check it out here: Personal Photography

Have you ever thought “Man, If I could just make my own panels in Photoshop I might be a rich famous star” ? Probably not, but you can at least make your own panels(formerly known as palettes) in Photoshop CS4 with this new piece of open-source software from Adobe. This looks like a great piece of free software, yep I said “free”….

Check it out here: Adobe Configurator

This program was developed for those of us who don’t want to get into Flash, or Flex but want to be able to alter the User Interface of Photoshop. As Adobe mentions in the annoncement I may find a use in training for this type of software. Check it out!

Well with the launch of a brand new version of Tutvid.com I have incorporated this blog which is actually managed via WordPress.  WordPress keeps it simple as far as my back-end managment for this blog is concerned and saved a bit of time as far setting this whole thing up.

Be sure to follow my blog as I will try to keep up and blog on a somewhat regular basis and talk about everything from tips and tricks, to tutorials-to-be, to some personal work, and industry news. All things considered I will try to create a really great blog for you guys (and girls ;P ) to keep up both on Tutvid and design in general. You can follow the blog via the RSS feed, or simply bookmark my web site and check back often (very often!).

Well I will follow this with a few more posts here today and get this thing rolling, but for now Thanks for reading!
